HIGHLAND COW EXPERIENCE

WEATHER

Every season brings something a little different at Rhan’z Barn! Our Highland cows are at their fluffiest through the cooler months, but they’re just as beautiful and full of character all year round. Tours run rain or shine, with experiences only cancelled if weather conditions aren’t safe for our guests or animals.

  • "Such an incredible time here! Rhani is so warm and friendly, and her knowledge of everything to do with her herd is amazing and so interesting to hear about. The cows are obviously gorgeous and so well trained, and it’s so clear how loved and well cared for they are. We came as a surprise for my partners birthday and not only did Rhani give up her own birthday morning to host us (twins!) but was equipped with party hats for the cows as well, such a thoughtful touch! Thank you so much for such a lovely morning with your fluffy family - we will be back for sure!"

  • "We did a 2 night farm stay which included spending time with the Highland Cows giving them a brush and learning some interesting background with Rhani. The accommodation is not far from local shops. We also got to spend time with the goats, chickens, and the resident dogs. If you are needing wifi for work etc, arrange an alternative source given no wi fi at the premises. A nice place to relax and spend time in nature."

The tour was informative and the whole thing was relaxed and at our speed. Plenty of opportunities for photos and our host took her own for us.
